Autumn color is beautiful and very enjoyable, especially when a little friend came by to say hi.

The Grand Prismatic Spring at Yellowstone National Park. When you search for images of this place on Google, you will find mostly a shot from high up which shows a blue pool with red and orange edges. When I stood right by GPS, I noticed there are other elements. In this example, the lines in the shallow pool was to me a great lead to the steam from the spring as wel as the mountain in the back. Not only that it also give great contrast to the shape and form of the mountain and the clouds. Presenting this in black and white puts further emphasis on the shape and form in the images.

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
