I love simple and elegant compositions. This is a quick study of the horizon I took with my handy iPhone. It’s a fun little device and I use it as a scouting camera. But these have a pretty nice feel to them.

Another nice event for me this summer. Another selection of my works will be on display at Bok Choy Asian Cuisine ans Sushi Bar in Bolingbrook starting on July 15th through August 31st. A few of the items on display will be shuffled with the exhibition at Aloft Bolingbrook. There will also be a selection of photos specifically made for Bok Choy, using some of their dishes as the subject.
Come on out and take a look and enjoy some great food at Bok Choy.

I am excited to announce that by the invitation of Aloft Bolingbrook and starting on July 1st 2011, I will be exhibiting a selection of my photographs along with Chris Wilson, a talented local photographer, whose work can be found on Flickr and 1815 Photography. Come out and see our exhibit which will run through September 30th, 2011.
Aloft Bolingbrook is located at 500 Janes Avenue in Bolingbrook next to L.A. Fitness. You can find map and driving directions on Google Maps.
I will be swapping out a few of the prints during the exhibition so you can see and perhaps enjoy more of my work. Here is a sample of what will be in the exhibit.
This print is available in The Print Store in various media and sizes. I recommend a 20″ X 20″ print on rag paper with 3″ mat space and a wide black wooden frame.
The Trump Tower in Chicago is the latest and greatest architectural project in recent years. It’s a beautiful addition to the Chicago skyline. Conveniently, it is also situated on Wacker Drive across from some of the greatest classic architecture work in Chicago. Here is a reflection of those classical building in the modern exterior of the Trump Tower. I was drawn to the historical and chronological contrast presented in this image. The bonus id the abstract look of the reflection makes it look very much like an oil painting or water color painting.
This photograph is available in The Print Store on canvas as large as a 60″ x 34″ as well as other sizes and media.
