Finally. I had some free time to take Brendon fishing for the first time. We got up at 5:30AM and went to the new Whalon Lake Forest Preserve near by and set up right by the “family fishing area”. Nothing but bluegills but it sure was fun for the little guy.

He must have reeled in about 40 of them in about 4 hours. I didn’t get to fish much because I was busy hooking worms and unhooking fish for him. we ended up taking some of the bigger ones (a couple of 9 inchers) home for dinner. It was quite delicious!

Needless to say, he wants to go again next week. It was good fun.

Next time I am bringing the DP2.

PS: We’re going again this weekend.

I think he likes it.

5 Years ago today, I gave my life to the most wonderful woman in the world. In return, she gave me her. Today 4 lives are together as one.

Life is beautiful.

After 3 weeks of fight and struggle, My Mother-in-Law left us this past weekend.

Ricky, My Brother-In-Law took it the hardest. My wife is stressed but seems to be dealing with it. I, on the other hand, am trying to keep my composure. Someone has to be strong when they cannot be.

I hope things will turn for the better from now. I can’t imagine taking another hit like this anytime soon. Physically, financially, and most of all, EMOTIONALLY.
